PSG : don’t search too hard doc, it’s his head !

The case of Ben Arfa, placardized at PSG and winner of the Coupe de France with his new club precisely against the stars of Paris, we have much gloss. But who knows in Paris the name of the president of Stade Rennais? For sure, the management of PSG. His name is Olivier Létang. And do you imagine that he was also placardized at the PSG, deputy director of no one mocked one behind the scenes, until the time to join the Breton capital in November 2017. There was talk about relegation. It was not long ago. But under his presidency, the Bretons triumphed over PSG. With Ben Arfa and Olivier Létang indeed.
PSG, we changed everything, the players, coaches, directors, sportsmen or others, the lawn, the gardener (Jonathan Calderwood) … we changed everything, but without getting any of the European results ambitioned. Everything has changed … everything except the direction.
Then, inevitably, the diagnoses converge. We recall the saying of Erasmus, a fish rotten by the head.
We are not in a position to evaluate the direction of the PSG and Hatem Ben Arfa is not a prince of rhetoric. Listen to him anyway. We may learn something from it.
“We must always respect the human. When we do not respect him, at some point, you pay him … And I think that Adrien Rabiot will come back one day with a team and will hurt them. Because that’s life. When you give the wrong, you get the wrong. ”
Ben Arfa seems to believe in a form of immanent justice. Everyone will judge.
One thing is proven. With the cases Ben Arfa, Rabiot or Nkunku, conflicts multiply at PSG. A mess according to some, sporting sometimes, financial regularly, human always. The mother of Adrien Rabiot gives to hear his revolt in the newspaper The Team. “We’re taking away this one (a bonus … of ethics!) On the pretext that he did not go to a training course in Qatar. But his grandmother had died and his father was dying (he actually died on January 25) … It falls into the abject.”
Justice immanent or not, there are mechanisms to which no leader can evade. A team is a fragile building. It becomes vulnerable as soon as the trust is cracked.
The credit of a manager is not immutable. Each augurs his future behavior, his reliability, from his current behaviors.
When a leader treats indignantly and repeatedly some of his players, many other players to say that their turn could come one day. They now know what their manager is capable of. What threatens them.
And we would like them to be dedicated, that they wet the shirt … That they are attached to their club, to their company, to their leader … In the France of 2019, 23% of the executives say to experience indifference for their employer! When 28% felt attachment ten years ago (How executives have evolved in 10 years!)
Another thing.A “disturbing” management generates individualism, everyone for themselves, not a team game. When everyone can fear for their skin or for their personal future, when arbitrariness threatens, a team always comes to lose its soul.
As at PSG?
